Grrrrrrr!! What’s this? Hindi Writer Software for Marathi Typing? Don’t get confused as we all know or if you know hindi and marathi languages are using same script, that is (for science students i.e ) Devnagari script. So we can use hindi typing software to type marathi or marathi typing software to type in hindi. Just title makes them different. I hope you guys, girls are no more in confused state if theres.

So today we are going to provide new Marathi Typing Software “HindiWriter” from HindiWriter.org. To use this software you have download and install this software. Download it from link given at the end of this post.

Whats new in this software?
Well in HindiWriter software you can type using generic or traditional input style i.e A for अ, B for ब and likewise. You can type like one of the Marathi typing box in this site or that of Pramukh IME software. Don’t worry if you don’t know how to type, learn it from Marathi Typing Tutor post.

In HindiWriter you are getting suggested words while typing any word. That’s cool and time saver feature. You can switch on or off this feature as per your typing skills.

Steps to install HindiWriter:

1) Download HindiWriter Software from this link, Unzip its and install it. ( Simply double on HindiWriterSetup.exe then click “Next – Next – Yes – Next – Next – Next”. you done it )

2) Launch HindiWriter from desktop which will rest in right side pan.

3) Right Click on it’s icon and select option “Toggle Traslitelator option to start writing in Marathi.

4) Open you favorite word processing application and start typing.

To starts Marathi Typing Tutor you need to download and install Pramukh IME software which is really small in size. Follow the steps to install Pramukh IME and start Pramukh IME as given in that post. Select Hindi/Marathi/Sanskrit Typing option from popup menu list. And Click your cursor on Typing box of this typing tutor.

How to learn Typing?

#1. Below you can see many marathi words. Click one of them to learn how to type it.

#2. Now Click in box and Type Keys as per Given Key strock’s below the box without spaces. Keep in mind to type small letters as small and capital letters as caps using shift key. i.e while typing case sensitivity is important.

#3. After you type word correctly you will get Congrats message at the bottom side.

#4. Click on other word and start typing it as per given key strock’s.

After looking into this software we found its very useful and lite too. Lite in the sense for downloading and for typing too. Simply download it on your desktop. And start using it. By using this PramukhIME virtually you can type anywhere. From word pad, excel, ms-word, powerpoint, while writing new emails in marathi etc etc. We are providing you scree shot tutorial and step by step procedure to use this lite and nice software which was created by Vishalon.net.

Step to install this IME on your computer.
1) Download PramukhIME (500kb)
2) Unzip this package on to your computer say on desktop or on “C” or “D” drive or in my documents. Its your choice.
3) Now simply click on PramukhIME.exe and start Pramukh IME.
4) You will see small icon on right side of your desktop (notification area).
5) Now right click on that icon and select Hindi/Marathi/Sanskrit option.

6) Open your favorite word processor and start typing in marathi.

1. Open KF-Kiran.zip and extract all the files into a Temp folder such as c:\temp.

5. Select All Fonts and Press OK.

Marathi lekhani is another true type font we have found. This font is created by Y V Sathaye in 2000. And its Free to use and non-commertial font. It’s easy to type font. To type “Marathi” in Devnagri script you have to type “mra#I” keys.

There are some “hidden symbols for “kana, matra, velanti, ukaar, chandra, anuswar” you have to type some keys two or more than two time and give a single backspace to get required results.
